UPDATE FROM PASTEL PAYROLL 2009 UPDATE 1 TO PASTEL PAYROLL 2009 UPDATE 1C

Installation/Update Instructions

You must have Pastel Payroll 2009 Update 1 installed in order to use this update.

Follow these instructions carefully to ensure that you update your system correctly:

Click HERE to download Payroll 2009 Update 1c.

• On the next screen you will be asked where to save the file to. Select a temporary directory.
• Click on ‘Save’.
• Open Windows Explorer and locate the directory in which you selected to download the file to. Search for the file called Pay09Update1 -Pay09Update1c.exe.
  
• Execute this file simply by double-clicking on the file name.
• The Update Assistant will launch. Make sure that Pastel Payroll 2009 is closed and click ‘Next ‘to continue.
• The Update Assistant will verify your current version of Pastel Payroll and confirm which updates to install. Click ‘Update’ to continue.
• The Update Assistant will now run the process to upgrade your current version of Pastel Payroll.
• When the update has completed, click on ‘Finish’ and open Pastel Payroll as you normally would.
• To ensure that the update has successfully installed, click on ‘Help...About ‘and check that the version number displayed reads Pastel Payroll 2009 Update 1c.
• From the File Menu, select to run a Legislative Release. Please ensure that you do not have any processed employees.
