Update from Pastel Payroll 2008 Update 1B to Pastel Payroll 2008 Update 2A
Installation/Update Instructions

You must have Pastel Payroll 2008 Update 1b installed in order to use this update.
Follow these instructions carefully to ensure that you update your system correctly:
Click HERE to download Pastel Payroll 2008 Update 2a.
On the next screen you will be asked where to save the file to. Select a temporary directory.
- Click on Save.
- Open Windows Explorer and locate the directory in which you selected to download the file to. Search for the file called Pay08Update1b-Pay08Update2a.exe.
- Execute this file simply by double-clicking on the file name.
- The Update Assistant will launch. Make sure that Pastel Payroll 2008 is closed and click Next to continue.
- The Update Assistant will verify your current version of Pastel Payroll and confirm which updates to install. Click Update to continue.
- The Update Assistant will now run the process to upgrade your current version of Pastel Payroll.
- When the update has completed, click on Finish and open Pastel Payroll as you normally would.
- To ensure that the update has successfully installed, click on Help...About and check that the version number displayed reads Pastel Payroll 2008 Update 2a.
- From the File Menu, select to run a Legislative Release. Please ensure that you do not have any processed employees.
